OBJECTIVES
-To carry out activities related to scouting and scout leadership. -To collaborate with domestic and international institutions on scouting activities. -To conduct work in the areas of search and rescue, humanitarian aid, and civil defense. -To collaborate with relevant institutions and organizations on amateur radio activities. -To conduct studies on critical analytical thinking, reading original and scientific sources, and to support such studies in order to instill our cultural values. -To participate in domestic and international projects and apply for project support.
ACTIVITIES
1. Organize all kinds of activities such as seminars, conferences, camps, etc., related to technical information on scouting, survival in natural conditions, and the development of scout leaders, in cooperation with relevant institutions when necessary.
2. Participate in camps, training, and other activities organized by the Turkish Scouting Federation. Promote scouting to interested parties both within and outside the university.
3. Take courses and training in search and rescue, humanitarian aid, etc., participate in activities in these areas, and organize events. Assist people in civil defense activities and during emergencies such as earthquakes, floods, fires, etc.
4. Organizing training programs in cooperation with relevant institutions and organizations on developing uninterrupted communication skills through amateur radio and participating in organized events.
5. Raising awareness among our members and individuals participating in our activities about our national and spiritual cultural values, and cooperating with institutions and organizations working on critical analytical thinking and reading original and scientific sources.
6. Apply for projects of ministries, primarily the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, as well as their Provincial Directorates, and engage in activities in cooperation with these institutions.
