The primary point of contact for health issues among students enrolled in the faculties/colleges/vocational schools affiliated with our university is the Medical Social Center, which operates under the Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports. Initial treatment is provided to students who seek assistance, and if necessary, they are referred to our university’s Ahmet Necdet Sezer Application and Research Hospital. There are three medical centers at our university: the Medical Social Center within the Ahmet Necdet Sezer Application and Research Hospital, the Ali Çetinkaya Campus, and the Ahmet Necdet Sezer Campus. The Medical Social Center has a staff that closely monitors all health issues of our students. In addition, our center, which also provides psychological counseling services to students, conducts studies on student mental health. The examinations and treatments of our students who apply to our Medical Social Centers are carried out by specialist doctors. In addition to our students and university staff, residents of Afyonkarahisar and the surrounding area can also benefit from our university hospital.

Additionally, our university offers a “Student Emergency Transportation Service.” This service is available to students studying at our campuses in the city center of Afyonkarahisar who are stranded on campus due to classes running late and no longer having access to any transportation services. Students who require emergency transportation due to health reasons at their place of residence can also benefit from this service. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Within the scope of this service, a passenger vehicle and driver are kept on standby at the Ahmet Necdet Sezer Campus.
